you never get me down
I'm always up with you
There's this balance between living and working that everyone ideally finds one way or another, at some point in their life. I have not.
I'd been going to the Rogue office to do some shoots, but mostly to see Raymond, LA, and the rest of their fantastic team.
And the office is a good place to be.
Mela and Paolo.
Also, Miguel M, with an invisible, camera-shy Miguel L.
The Preview Ball happened, and it was my first time to attend, basically because it was my first time to be invited. It was dark, thumping, fashionable, and tall. It was also a blur, and when that lifted, LJ and I found ourselves along Maginhawa St., heading to Moonleaf, where most things begin or end.
LJ was dressed to kill. Hi Thysz. Sorry! Hello Judd and Aleli!
Also, Gian! All of us that night, when there was liquor in the milktea.
I think this was my breakfast the next day: corned beef and pesto scrambled eggs. Everything I cook involves a can somehow. Someone told me that every other household in the city has these plates.
Hello Judd! We both went to Cubao X in the daytime- this is significant- for Gabby's shoot with Vicky.
In Gabby's studio, Judd, Mike, Vicky, and Chiara! Hello!
Judd would be doing video work for the shoot, and my job of bringing him over and saying hi was generally done, so I hung around a bit.
Mike styling, and Thysz art directing!
Judd and Sam, one of the very few Siamese twins I know.
Little things inside the UVLA shop. We've never gone in but everything looks old and beautiful.
Suddenly, Maginhawa again with LJ, Nante, and Ziggy and BJ.
One more month down. I miss the weirdest things.
I love your photos. There are no other words for it. They are so beautiful and so... enchanting... as if from another world. And to me, that is pretty close to it. *sits in Sweden and enjoys the short summer*
Thank you so much! It really is because of everyone I shoot :)
Sweden is another world for us all here! I'm sure it's just as gorgeous as the postcards, which is something you can't say about Manila ;)
