best set yet
These photos are amazing and poignant. They evoke so much emotion. Great colours and tones!
Thanks you! I couldn't think of anything worth saying, this is one of the most quiet sets I've done, in a way.
i used to go to church there and then just cross the street to go to the mall. totally relevant to a filipino's interests. haha.
You and every other Catholic! Mass is just pre-shopping.
This country has let me down so many times, but I know I will never be home anywhere else. I feel the same.
It's an abusive relationship.
I miss posting comments on your photoblog. Wonderful pictures, as always. :)
Madalas na ko sa area na yan ngayon, I'm seeing someone who lives nearby :3
Thank you! And good luck with that. ;)

sorry! couldn't resist. you kinda turn me on!
Sometimes it's (fortunately) ironic that despite how much of a failure our country can be at times, we're still such happy people.
I love these photos, Joseph! <3
your blog is so inspiration. i really don't know what else to say about it.
"This country has let me down so many times, but I know I will never be home anywhere else."
This is exactly how I feel. You've articulated it so well.
Unfortunately, you'd think. Thanks :)
So very gorgeous... and slightly sad. But beautiful. Am I making sense?
Yes! That's what I was thinking at the shrine. :)
Looking at these photos I still don't know what to say. This country has let me down so many times, but I know I will never be home anywhere else.
MTE. I just got back from SG, and the whole time I was there, I was thinking of the same thing.
Singapore is an infrastructure and orderliness pipe dream for us, but it is So. Dreary. There.
You have a new camera? :) What lens are you using?
Yes, thankfully! I went back to my Sigma 18-200 :)
Glad to know you've got a new camera, Joseph! Great photographs c:

The courage you have! I mean, I would NEVER take out my SLR in Manila. I always feel like within five seconds, it'll be snatched. :D I admire your courage. Manila is so photogenic as a city, but I can't really bring myself to take out my camera. Gah, I envy you. :)
That's really sad to hear, because you're letting fear take over common sense. :P
I bring my camera out, and I've had it stolen yes, but that doesn't mean I keep it at home forever.
Take your camera out, make sure it's always with you, and stay alert. That's it. |
